Of all the members in Blue Rose, lead vocalist Ahada
has the most diverse background. Her experience includes writing, arranging, performing,
acting and choreography. Ahada's unique sound is a blend of a little Joplin, a little Tina Turner,
and a whole lot of Aretha. Born and raised in the Motor City, Ahada has been performing in the
Detroit circuit for many years. Her credits include vocal groups such as Kelly's Crew, Bottom Line
and Rocking Jazzation. She has also performed in theatrical productions including The Wiz
. In addition, Ahada has had technical training in television and radio production. |
