High energy and intense live performances best describe this veteran
of the metro Detroit music scene. Upon graduating high school, E.J. joined Red September, performing
both original and cover material. Her next project was Disguise, where she earned a reputation as a
dynamic vocalist and front person. This attracted the attention of the all original, all female band,
Ms. X. Their collaboration led the group to the semi-finals of the National Arts and Recording Sciences
"Best Unsigned Band" contest. E.J.’s love of the blues ultimately landed her a job with Blind Dog
Fulton, performing frequently throughout the Metro Detroit area. Influenced by artists ranging from
Judy Garland to Etta James to Janis Joplin, E.J.’s multi-faceted vocal ability provides the power and
attitude that Blue Rose is known for. |
