Kim's professional experience ranges from R&B to Blues and Jazz to
Acappella groups that have worked throughout the Detroit area. She is also an accomplished classical
and jazz pianist, and has written and recorded commercial jingles. While earning a degree in voice
performance from Western Michigan University, Kim performed with Gold Company, Downbeat
magazine's perennial award winner for the best college vocal jazz group. During this time she had the
opportunity to record and perform with musical greats like Bobby McFerrin, Andy Williams and
The Manhattan Transfer. Kim's silky-smooth soprano voice adds a rich and ethereal quality
to the Blue Rose vocal spectrum. |
